CLARIFICATION: No school, including Southern High School, was ever specifically named in the social media post.

At approximately noon today, a threat to Southern Garrett High School was put out through social media. As a precaution, the school went into HOLD status. The threat was determined to have no credibility. HOLD has been lifted and classes are in session.
