In reviewing the long-range forecast, GCPS is preparing for the possibility of a Virtual Learning Day on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. At the end of the day today, students will be sent home with all necessary learning materials.

Due to inclement weather, Garrett County Public Schools will open two hours late on Friday, January 17, 2025. This will cancel the staff development/early dismissal scheduled for tomorrow afternoon. Students will be in school for the afternoon. Administrative offices will open on time.
