Pre-K and K Application Notice

Garrett County Public Schools (GCPS) will begin accepting applications for comprehensive kindergarten registration and Pre-Kindergarten Program for 3- and 4-year-olds for the 2025-26 school year on Monday, February 10, 2025. Kindergarten registration is for all children entering kindergarten for the first time in September 2025, while Pre-K is a program for 3- and 4-year-olds. Registration will be held at each school in April. For more information, don't hesitate to contact your elementary school's Registration Liaison or the Office of Elementary Education.
