Partners After School

  • Students in third through eighth grades at Broad Ford Elementary School, Yough Glades Elementary School and Southern Middle School are eligible to apply to enroll in this program. Partners After School programs are provided by the Garrett County Local Management Board (LMB), Governor’s Office of Crime Prevention, Youth, and Victim Services, United Way of Garrett County, Garrett County Department of Social Services and University of Maryland Extension Office. Programs are administered by the Garrett County Health Department. The State of Maryland Child Well-Being Result addressed through the PAS program is Healthy Children with a focus on the priority areas of Reducing Childhood Hunger, and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). Enrollment will be limited to children of families who struggle with food insecurity and/or Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).
