Hi, I am the principal of Yough Glades Elementary School.  I have worked in the education system for 22 years.  I have served as an administrator for 10 years, 5 years at Southern Middle School, 4 years at Broad Ford Elementary, and have almost completed my 1st year at Yough Glades Elementary School.  

I aim to prepare students to be life-long learners who aren't afraid to face challenges and persevere in all aspects of life.  To be kind, hardworking, and responsible citizens.  My vision for Yough Glades Elementary is to increase test scores and student academic progress through evidenced-based interventions.  To decrease discipline by using a restorative practices approach and a PBIS model.  Involve families in decision making, and sharing input.  Train staff with up-to-date technology, and other resources to enhance student learning.  To encourage and teach students to be caring, honest, organized, mindful and prepared individuals.

I love cats, naps, kids and hugs.  I love my family with all my heart!

I love my gators like my own children.  We work as a team to encourage and support each other throughout the year!  I am here for you and your students academically, emotionally, and physically.  We are one big Gator family!
