Hi, I am the Principal of Northern Garrett Middle School.  I have worked in the educational system for 22 years with Garrett County Public Schools, 10 years in administration.   

The overall goal I have for students is to be kind, caring and compassionate people with a desire to learn and grow so they can fulfill their dreams and ambitions.  I challenge each and every student to take full advantage of all that is offered to them and to make the most of the talents and gifts they have been given.

I love spending time with my family and the many adventures we go on together, whether it be hiking, biking or vacationing.  I enjoy coaching sports such as soccer, softball and basketball.  In my free time I enjoy reading books such as John Grisham or Dean Koontz novels or studying the Bible.  

Education is a shared commitment between dedicated teachers and staff, motivated students and enthusiastic parents with high expectations.
