Hi, I am the Principal of Crellin Elementary School.  I have worked in the educational system for Garrett County Public Schools for 30 years. I worked for 3 years as the coordinator of staff development and school improvement and the last 20 years as the principal of Crellin Elementary School.

At Crellin Elementary, we strive to create an environment where students feel supported.  We want them to persevere and feel empowered to reach their potential.  We create opportunities where students are able to give back to their community and experience what it is like to be part of something bigger than themselves.  My vision for Crellin is to be the hub of the community where families and individuals know they belong, to create an atmosphere where people's talents and strengths are utilized and appreciated and to build a sense of community and shared identiy.

 I have been married to my husband, Jeff, for 30 years and we recently bought a farm in Pleasant Valley.  I have two grown children, Cooper and Kenzie. They currently live in Las Vegas, NV and in Alexandria, VA.  

I want parents to know that we are partners, that we care about their children, and that we view their children as individuals with different strengths.
