    Freshman Levi Martin and freshman Kaden Newsome were recognized as RAM (Random Acts of Maturity) Students of the Month for the second marking quarter. Martin was nominated as November RAM student of the month by his student council advisor Andi Sessa for citizenship.  "He is willing to do whatever is needed when asked.  He understands the benefit of the holiday lights [event] for the community, the elementary schools, and our Student Council," Sessa said. Newsome was nominated as December RAM student of the month by physical education teacher Amber Hill and instructional assistant Sherry Leader  for displaying caring and giving in the classroom. "He does a phenomenal job during PE class making sure all students are included, no matter what their ability levels are. He is quick to offer feedback when to his classmates, whether he is praising them for their effort, or offering words of encouragement," Hill said. "He is one of the most caring students I have had the pleasure of working with." 
    The RAM Student of the Month program recognizes students who exemplify the character and behavioral traits that promote Respect, Active, Mature and Safe. The RAM student is awarded $5 in Rams Bucks and a free movie pass to Garrett 8 Cinemas, the sponsor of the RAM Student of the Month program.

    Eighth grader Addison Dixon and sophomore Evan Petroske were recognized as RAM (Random Acts of Maturity) Students of the Month for the first marking quarter. Dixon was nominated as September RAM student of the month by her social studies teacher LuAnn Watson for displaying self-discipline and control in the classroom each day.  "Addi works very hard and does not allow [distractions to keep her] from doing her very best," Watson said. Petroske was nominated as October RAM student of the month by band director Jason Shaw for displaying responsibility and dependability on the field and in the classroom. "As a new member of the marching band, Evan became an immediate leader of the band helping others and being very dependable," Shaw said. "We are very fortunate to have him in the band."
