Senior Helayna Haefner and freshman Abbi Teets were recognized as RAM (Random Acts of Maturity) Students of the Month for February and March. Haefner was nominated by her teacher April Rhodes for displaying  trustworthiness/honesty/sincerity in the classroom each day.  "Helayna displays qualities of compassion and kindness toward others at all times.  These traits are exemplified during our rotations at the nursing home," Rhodes said. "She is willing to work with anyone she is paired with and takes pride in taking care of the elderly. Her truthfulness and honesty are just a few of her most revered qualities."
Teets was nominated by her English teacher John Coffman for displaying courage/facing challenges on the basketball court.  "Abbi had her nose broken in the state semifinal basketball game and continued to play both in that game and the state championship game," Coffman said. "She never gave up and knew that she could easily be injured again while playing." The RAM Student of the Month program recognizes students who exemplify the character and behavioral traits that promote Respect, Active, Mature and Safe. The RAM student is awarded $5 in Rams Bucks and a free movie pass to Garrett 8 Cinemas, the sponsor of the RAM Student of the Month program.
