Southern Garrett High School congratulates Student of the Month recipients for April and May. Recipients receive a Student of the Month certificate and $5 in Ram Bucks which can be used at the school. The Student of Month program is based on teacher recommendations of students who exhibit a positive attitude, outstanding citizenship, and good work ethic in class. Student of the Month students exemplify the RAMS motto--Respect, Active, Mature and Safe. Additional sponsors of the Student of the Month program for April are Railey Realty Inc, 1st Peoples Community FCU,SGHS Alumni Association, and WEPCO FCU.

 

April students of the month include: senior Riyana Harvey, English; sophomore Lani Daugherty, mathematics; sophomore Michael Liller, science; sophomore Shane Sisler social studies; freshman Andrew McCartney, Career and Technology Education-- Pre-Engineering (PLTW); junior DJ Rinard, theatre; freshman Jayden Weaver, physical education.
