    from East:
    Take I70 to I-68 towards Cumberland
    Travel past Cumberland into Garrett County
    Take 219 South/Oakland Exit from I68
    Travel on Route 219 past Northern, past Deep Creek Lake and into Oakland.
    Travel through 3 traffic lights and at the 4th light make a left onto Route 135/219
    219 will branch off at the next light, stay on 135 straight ahead.
    At the next light, make a left.
    Take a right at the stop sign--school will be on the left.
     
     
    from West:
    Take I-68 from Morgantown, WV to Maryland
    Take 219 South/Oakland Exit from I68
    Travel on Route 219 past Northern, past Deep Creek Lake and into Oakland.
    Travel through 3 traffic lights and at the 4th light make a left onto Route 135/219
    219 will branch off at the next light, stay on 135 straight ahead.
    At the next light, make a left
    Take a right at the stop sign--school will be on the left.
     
    The gymnasium is in the main school complex, as are locker facilities.
    Stadium field, baseball field, track and softball fields are located behind the school on Dennett Road.
     

    Parking Information

    All fans and students are reminded that they need to park in designated parking spots at Southern High School for athletic events. Parking is not permitted to take place in the drive-through area, parallel to the high school. Please be reminded that fire lanes must be kept clear at all times. Please do not park in front of no parking signs, be mindful of barricades, and do not block the alley.
     
    Parking will be monitored by the local sheriff’s office for public safety reasons.
     
    Overflow parking for evening events at Southern will be in the Oak Park Church of the Brethren lot as well as the lot at The Castle, adjacent to the school.
