Recently, members of the Garrett County Association of Student Councils (GCASC) participated in the Mountain Maryland Youth Summit at Allegany College of Maryland (ACM). Students were able to visit with 3 different program coordinators at ACM. Students competed in a poster contest highlighting their involvement in various service projects. Representatives from local organizations participated in a community fair for the students. The summit was sponsored by MD Civics Coalition and ACM.

Participating students were Laura Huelskamp, Maria Bequette, Hailey Wildesen, Lindsey Kahl, and Lydia Nelson.
