The Garrett County Board of Education will hold a Special Business Meeting virtually on October 17, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. to take action on the FY2025-30 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As the meeting will be conducted virtually, it is not open to the public; however, it will be live-streamed for public review.

GCPS will dismiss students three (3) hours early on Thursday, October 10, 2024, for staff development in the afternoon. Additionally, all GCPS schools and administrative offices will be closed for the Autumn Glory Festival on Friday, October 11, 2024.
