Use of Facilities by Outside Organizations

  • The Board of Education of Garrett County (the Board) encourages the use of Garrett County Public Schools (GCPS) facilities for community activities and events at times that do not interfere with regular school sessions or bona fide school activities. This policy applies to any group (users) wishing to utilize any GCPS facility and grounds, including Central Office, Dennett Road Educational Complex, and Hickory Environment Education Center. All applications for use of facilities will be processed through the facility administrator. Such applications should be submitted at least three weeks before the date of intended use utilizing Administration Procedure KG, pages 1-2 Application of Use of School Facilities. Refer to Procedure KG for details concerning the application process, priorities of approval, classification of users, and fee structures.

     
     
     
     
    If you would like to use one of our facilities, please contact the principal or administrator of the building. You will need to complete the Application for Use of School Facilities form. There may be charges for use depending upon the restrictions of the procedure. Please refer to the links above for more information.
