The Office of Special Programs

  • The Garrett County Public Schools Office of Special Programs oversees and is responsible for the following programs, their development, and provides services throughout the district:
    • Gifted & Talented
    • English Language Learners
    • Section 504 Services
     

    MISSION STATEMENT

    Garrett County Public Schools Office of Special Program extends our county’s mission by maximizing the potential of the learner in each of our three service areas by providing programs and services to match their unique characteristics and aid in their instructional needs.
     

    VISION STATEMENT

    Garrett County Public Schools will assure that students within our special programs will grow socially, emotionally, and academically to become well-adjusted, contributing members of society.
